All prints are made-to-order and will require one to two weeks’ production time before being shipped. Each order will be acknowledged after payment has been received to confirm the shipping date. To customers who order prints of the same image subsequent to their original order, there may be slight variations in image density and/or contrast when compared to the initial print. If exact matching prints are desired, these should be ordered at the same time.
All prints are shipped flat, durably mounted on high quality backing board with two inch borders top and sides and a five inch border at bottom.
Custom Matting and Framing crafted to fit the Mount Board Size shown will be required to complete the presentation. The bottom border will show below the lower right corner of the image the photographer’s signature. Due to slight size variations please await receipt of your mounted print before ordering custom matting and framing.

LaSal Mountains from Hwy 313 Overlook nr. Moab, Utah, March 24, 2024 (Black and White)
All along the road to Utah’s Canyonlands are dramatic views to the east of the La Sal Mountains coupled with foregrounds dominated by sandstone outcrops, Utah juniper, cedar, bristlecone pine, and an endless variety of desert flora. On this day the sun was already high by mid-morning making impactful photography difficult. On the other hand, unusually clear atmospheric conditions allowed my images to depict the distant La Sals much closer than they normally appear. My Nikon D-850 equipped with the 24-70mm f2.8E ED Nikkor lens at 52mm normal focal length was the camera used for this stark scene of wild beauty. This desaturated color image of the La Sal Mountains evokes a much different response than the color image previously posted. Devoid of color, the scene’s stark beauty is accentuated by the contrast of light and dark tonal values that assume greater dominance of the image.
