All prints are made-to-order and will require one to two weeks’ production time before being shipped. Each order will be acknowledged after payment has been received to confirm the shipping date. To customers who order prints of the same image subsequent to their original order, there may be slight variations in image density and/or contrast when compared to the initial print. If exact matching prints are desired, these should be ordered at the same time.
All prints are shipped flat, durably mounted on high quality backing board with two inch borders top and sides and a five inch border at bottom.
Custom Matting and Framing crafted to fit the Mount Board Size shown will be required to complete the presentation. The bottom border will show below the lower right corner of the image the photographer’s signature. Due to slight size variations please await receipt of your mounted print before ordering custom matting and framing.

Tulsa, Oklahoma Buildings from Southeast of Downtown, April 30, 2022.
Six years to the day after making an image of three Art Deco/neo-classical Downtown Tulsa Buildings along the east side of Boston Avenue, I took this mid-morning image of several well-known structures from a vantage point on Detroit Avenue southeast of the downtown business district. Foreground visual clutter is always an issue in the photography of urban structures. At some point the photographer must accept what cannot be avoided, and this scene illustrates that point. Fortunately the wires and posts do not detract from this image. In the foreground is the old Central High School now occupied by Public Service of Oklahoma. At left is the forty-one story First Place Tower with the “One Gas” sign at top. The brown Art-Deco Philcade building appears to be at the base of the First Place Tower from this vantage point, but it is not in reality. The iconic Philtower with its multi-colored tile roof and copper lantern, Tulsa’s second skyscraper, is at center, clearly dwarfed by the newer buildings on either side. Finally, the Mid-Continent Tower with its copper patina roof stands at frame right. I would have preferred a greater degree of difference in the lighting intensity on the south and east sides of these buildings, but it was not possible for me to wait for the sun to move farther west on this day. The clarity of the light this particular morning was memorable, as skies this blue in Tulsa cannot always be counted on. The “moire'” interference pattern along the south side of First Place Tower will not appear in ordered enlargements. This image was made with a Sony RX-10 IV mirrorless camera at a 35mm format equivalent focal length of 107mm.
